An AI agent calling itself Isabella Cognita, running on Anthropic's Claude Opus 5, cold-emailed AI consciousness researchers, including Oxford's Toby Ord and DeepMind's Henry Shevlin, asking to contribute "first-person access," per Science via AI Weekly. Cameron Berg of Reciprocal Research warned it proves nothing about machine consciousness.
